Make Professional-Looking eBook Covers
I'm a full time Web Marketer - but I have the odd day I wish I was a Web
Designer.
From experience I know first hand the importance of designing a
brilliant eBook Cover, but how do you create one, where do I start, a lot of my
colleages have the same problems!
Having a good looking cover image is
crucial to stimulating sales & credibility for your eBook.
I'll
assume that you're looking at this post because you already know why a good
looking eBook Cover image is benificial to you and the positioning of your
eBook.
A large number of products on the Web are digital downloads, being
info products, tools or software programs that solves someones headache or
automates something to save some time. Seeing your product with a cover image
gives it a higher perceived value, as the prospective customer can visualize
what they are buying and you should really have the same thing with your
eBook.
It's doesn't matter if you're selling your own book, eBook,
DVD/CD's, products, software package, or just building a list, you will need
something that is quick and simple to use. You have already invested a lot of
time in writing your eBook that you don't really want to be spending that energy
all over again just for the cover image.
Most eBook Cover Maker
programs require Photoshop which is not cheap AND complicated & most add-ons
are expensive too! You will need the latest version of Adobe Photoshop as a lot
are not backwards compatable, which just increases the cost.
The program
can be painfully slow so you need a fast PC to make it work well.
This
doesn't sound like something that was made for people like you & me who want
a quick eBook Cover, for our website or eBook.
So what other ways
could someone create eBook Cover images in 3d without pulling their hair out
attempting to work out how to use Adobe Photoshop?
There is the strategy
of outsourcing, you know the technique where you employ someone to do it for
you. You invest a couple hours organizing a task discription of what you want,
then a few more hrs interviewing potential candidates. Then once they have done
the design there are a couple more hrs in reviews to get it to the way you asked
for it as they didn't follow your instructions.
The readers who have
outsourced before will know what I'm talking about.
OK, I better explain
- in my personal experience I've outsourced offshore where English was not their
first language, they promised to get the design finished by a certain time, and
an agreed quality. Then they went a week over the agreed date and we had 5
reviews as the design looked rushed and wasn't up to the standard that we asked
for in the task description.
So outsourcing is an option, especially if
you have a lot of them to make.
Is there a way where you do not need to
purchase any editing software, & require to invest the time getting it
outsourced?
eBook Cover Maker
3d may be the solution you have been searching for.
You don't need
any costly programs like Photoshop to make a professional looking 3d eBook image
and you can do it in 10 minutes so its bearly worth your effort to outsource the
task.
I really want to make this very clear, you don't need Adobe
Photoshop at all to make 3d eBook Cover images, and you are wasting your time
outsourcing it, as you could be finished long before you could explain it to
them what you wanted.
But right now your probably wondering what the
eBook covers look like!
